I took inspiration from the polish name for this design. Sun of a Peach, which seemed much brighter in person, with a topcoat of flakies. Nuclear Energy in purple with a peach on top.
China Glaze – Sun of a Peach
Sally Hansen – Petal Pusher
Zoya – Arizona, Raven
L.A. Colors – Nuclear Energy
Color Club – Almond Nude, Candy Girl, Snowflakes
Spa Ritual – Twig
I have a stash list to reference so I don’t buy duplicates. However, I was certain I knew my inventory which is how I ended up with 2 bottles of Zoya’s Julieanne. 🙂 I smudged my purple paint then took out my stamps and slapped on some white. I figure if I mess up, and I do often, why should I scrap it? I’ll just chalk it up to practice.
Stamping kicked my butt however, the dots were salvageable so I added some silver holo to the tips to cover my flaws. Glitter has always been my autocorrect and I’m thankful for it!
Zoya – Julieanne
L.A. Colors – 3D Silver
Wet n Wild – French White
Stamping plate – LO16
I think I’ve become spoiled by the overabundance of glitter in the indie polishes I’ve been buying. I never saw a swatch of the gold glitter but the bottle looked promising enough. Wet n Wild 18K Gold is one of those polishes you have to fish around for the glitter & then try to place it. Not my favorite.
Jesse’s Girl – Spring Break
Wet n Wild – 18K Gold
Little pink birdhouses for you & me. I made a birdhouse out of marzipan recently for a cake and it looked pretty much like this one, except edible. Long weekend makes it tough to get back into the swing of things. 🙂
Zoya – Malia, Rocky, Shelby, Pippa, Snow White, Raven,
Sally Hansen – Tough Love
I fought to get a decent shot of this mani. It was so shiny and pretty in person but in the pictures, the flake topcoat looked more like the surface of the moon. Anyone else encounter something like that?
L.A. Colors: Shock
China Glaze: Rich & Famous
Wet n Wild: On a Trip
Color Club: Snowflakes
